Holtville Raceway is a 1.5 mile 9 turn circuit with lots of run off area. The event is a non-competition, no racing event. It is a great opportunity to practice and have fun driving around a race track at high speed in a controlled environment. Free high performance driving consultation is available. Multiple cars on track with restricted passing. There will be three practice groups categorized by speed and experience. Passengers are allowed with a helmet. There will be no tech inspection at the track. Everyone is expected to bring a safe vehicle. No bald or damaged tires. There is no fuel at the track so arrive with a full tank. High speed driving is dangerous. Participants assume all risk. This event carries no liability and no medical insurance.

Originally, I thought we could meet in San Diego for breakfast, then caravan 1.5 - 2 hours drive to the event. However, since we should leave San Diego about 6:15 to arrive about 8:00, perhaps we should have dinner instead. Let me know what you folks think. Also, if you want to spend the night, there is the Barbara Worth Country Club in Holtville @ (760) 356-2806 and the Ramada Inn of El Centro @ (760) 352-5152.
